Law Day is made possible through the generous support of the Canadian Bar Association - Alberta Branch, the Alberta Law Foundation and the Law Society of Alberta.
CANADIAN BAR ASSOCIATION - ALBERTA BRANCH
We are the voice of the legal profession, and speak on issues that affect the judiciary, the administration of justice, and our profession. The CBA is the premier provider of professional development for lawyers, ensuring that Albertans have the highest quality legal representation. The Alberta Branch promotes the work of lawyers through out public legal education programs and Law Day activities. We assist the public in accessing legal help by providing volunteers to assist non-profit organizations, advocating for expanded legal aid, and promoting pro bono work by lawyers. The CBA Alberta Branch does this and more through the dedication of our members. These members include lawyers, judges, and law students who volunteer their time to advance the profession and the public interest.

This does not include interest paid on a specific trust investment held for an individual client. The interest is made available by the Foundation to organizations engaged in activities that are considered to be in keeping with the Foundation's objectives. The Foundation does not provide legal information or advice.
